Since the launching of Hum TV, the channel with every passing year has always taken us to some of the most amazing television performances and the vivid plots that we could never imagine of. As the year is ended, so we quickly recall the Hum TV’s six most memorable dramas having had a dazzling journey with us in 2018; which are:

1. Tawaan:

Starring the very popular and handsome Emmad Irfani with Hina Altaf Khan in the leading roles, Tawaan is a must-watch romance thriller of 2018 besides having Asad Siddiqui, Momal Khalid & Fazila Qazi in the pivotal roles. The serial is produced by Momina Duraid of MD Productions, which is presently airing on Hum TV and precisely shows effects about the vengeful attitudes & emotional tragedies.

A true lover and a soon-to-be husband Shehroze (played by Emmad Irfani) to his wife Manahil (played by Hina Altaf Khan) gets deeply shocked and depressed after Manahil dies by a sudden hit-and-run accident which is caused by Zamaan (played by Asad Siddiqui). As a reaction with being his feelings badly destroyed he intends to take revenge by getting Zamaan’s fiancé Maryam (played by Momal Khalid) kidnapped for doing equality. What happens next, what Shehroze wants and will Maryam really have to pay a heavy cost of her life? 

2. Belapur Ki Dayan:

Belapur Ki Dayan is a Pakistani Supernatural horror drama, started on 15 February 2018. The drama serial shows you the terrifying silence of the dark haunted house which is possessed by the paranormal presence of a girl named ‘Neelofar’ (played by Amar Khan), who returns hereafter to take revenge from the entire family shifted and living in the house who was responsible for wrongdoing with her in the past and ultimately caused her death.

The realistic horror drama got promotionally featured by the leading English-language newspaper ‘The Express Tribune’ as ‘The Pakistani series that will haunt you in 2018’ in initial days of its launch.

3. Alif Allah Aur Insaan:

The Hum TV’s longest running critically-acclaimed spiritual drama series of 2018, Alif Allah Aur Insaan broadcasted as one hour weekly from 25 April 2017 to 13 February 2018. The drama series is about the five different people belonging to different backgrounds and that how they are rewarded for their loyalty, patience & hard work. All the five characters in the show are interconnected to each other, all of whom at some points encounter the same places or events in their life and reaches towards their respective destinations on the basis of their acts & beliefs.

Produced under the banner of MD Productions, the series is a remarkable work based on Qisara Hayat’s novel of the same title as the series. Qaisara Hayat who had previously scripted a popular political blockbuster Saya-e-Dewar Bhi Nahi, now comes back with her second screenplay Alif Allah Aur Insaan, presenting it as a television drama serial for the same channel.

4. Ki Jaana Mein Kaun:

Produced by Moomal Shunaid under their banner Moomal Productions, Ki Jaana Main Kaun is a newly started drama soap running on Hum TV nowadays which narrates the story of a young, beautiful and a descent adopted girl ‘Meher’; played by Minal Khan. The only daughter to her parents, Meher looks extremely worried on her wedding day, as she comes to know the shocking reality of her life that the parents who have raised her with all the love & care are not her actual parents. Destroyed by the fact, Meher breaks her marriage off and starts wondering who her real parents are. The serial had its columns printed by two of the Pakistan’s most leading newspapers; ‘Daily Times’ & ‘The Nation’.

5. Tajdeed-e-Wafa:

Tajdeed-e-Wafa is about making the complicated relationships to be happily compromised and understood in the difficult circumstances only in order to maintain a balanced & happy social life.

The drama serial is the latest programming which is currently airing on HUM TV and stars a very talented & beautiful Naveen Waqar as ‘Neha’ with debutant Haroon Shahid as ‘Ashar’ in the leading roles, besides having the gorgeous Ainy Jafri with Ahmed Ali Akbar respectively as Hareem & Arsal playing in supporting. The drama serial defines the unexpected turns taking place both before and after the marriage. A married couple Neha and Ashar both try to resolve the conflicts between them; on the other hand Arsal does his best to win the trust of Hareem and her family, so the two could get along soon. 6. Maa Sadqey:

A story about the striving mother who fights all her life from the challenging society to give her children the love and happiness, but unfortunately whose efforts never get rewarded. The drama serial with heavily focusing upon the sacrifices of a mother’s life clearly demonstrates that nothing can compete and stand with the power of motherhood in any way in this world. Directed by Haseeb Ali, Maa Sadqey stars the glamorous Zainab Ahmed as a leading lady of the drama who does the complete justice with her character playing as a mother of three by adding up the colorful flavors to her performance with her simplicity and the unique acting skills.
